Tinkerbell & The Great Fairy Rescue! YES!

Finally, some tips on how to really fly!!

Years before meeting Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a little girl with a steadfast belief in the power of pixie dust and the magic land of fairies.  During the fairies’ summer visit to the flowering meadows of England, two very different worlds unite for the first time and Tink develops a special bond with a curious child in need of a friend.  As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of all fairykind in jeopardy.

Experience Disney’s astonishing all-new movie about the true power of faith and friendship. Bursting with excitement and imagination, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is magical entertainment for the whole family.  You might even learn to fly.

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue releases as a Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Movie Download on Tuesday, September 21. The film features the voices of Mae Whitman as Tinker Bell, Pamela Adlon as Vidia, Kristin Chenoweth as Rosetta, Lucy Liu as Silvermist, Raven Symone as Iridessa, Lauren Mote as Lizzy and Michael Sheen as Dr. Griffith (Lizzy’s Father).

Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution Petition - I AGREE!

I asked my mom if I could sign the Food Revolution petition because it's not true that if something is yummy, you should eat it. Do you think so too?

I don't think I'm scary at all! Do you?

Hi guys!

Watch my video because maybe you can learn something.  I'm calling this my TALES FROM RECESS series, which is very cool, right?  Don't worry, I'll put more stories on my blog in case your children aren't telling you what happened to them at recess or in class, because maybe you're not nice to them all the time and they don't want to share. I don't know, maybe.

You can tell my mom what you think by making a comment HERE.  Okay, thanks, bye.

Missing Madi

Hi! I haven't been blogging for a long time, have I? Christmas was good, by the way.

Okay, so I want to tell you about my best, best friend, Madi, who lives in Tennessee now.  Madi was in my class, and we were best friends.  We both knew about Michael Jackson songs, and we used to take walks together during recess and sing Michael Jackson songs all the time.  Sometimes, I would ask Madi to do a turtle neck, which she was very good at doing.  Now, Madi's grandpa is sick, so her mom and dad decided to go see him, and take care of him, and of course they took Madi with them.

When I first heard that Madi was moving to Tennessee, I wasn't very sad, because I didn't know that she was going to stay there.  I was okay with just a vacation, but when I knew she was going to stay in Tennessee, I got sad, and every time I saw or heard her name, it made me think of her more and more.  Last night, I started to cry because I missed Madi.  I wanted to write her a letter, but Mommy says we don't have their address, so I got even more sad, because I wanted to do at least something, so we can stay friends.

Also, Madi and I always used to talk funny together like this: "Peace up, A-town down!", or "Peace out, suckaaaas!" but then Mommy said if I don't know what something means, then don't say it. So then we said other funny things that we knew what they meant.

Mommy said I should do a blog post about it, so I can get the thoughts out of my head, so that's what I'm doing, and  Mommy's typing for me.  It makes me feel better, because if I have it out of my head, I won't think about it as much, and then it will be hard to think about again, because I'll have to find it somewhere out of my head.

I'd like to say bye, so Goodbye!

Update on the mini-footballers *SOCCER* project

NOTE: This is not Marley! It's her mom, posting with her permission and supervision (lol!) about the progress on the soccer cleats ad gear collection project for the Waterhouse Football Club, members of the Jamaica Football Federation, in St. Andrew, Jamaica.

So, without further delay...drummmmroooollll....

1.  We officially have a shipping source! This is wonderful news, because we were getting ready to send out letters to FL and GA-based shipping companies requesting free shipping.  Special thanks to Waterhouse Football Club's Chairman, Bruce Bicknell of Tank-weld Metals.

2. We have a firm deadline for packaging of all donated cleats, socks, shin guards, or jerseys.  The deadline is JANUARY 10, 2010.  We would like to have everything packaged and in Florida, ready for shipping by that date.
- If you're in metro Atlanta, you can mail your package to us, or we'll come pick 'em up.
- If you are not in metro Atlanta and want to send your donations to use, please email me at arichards (at) execumama.com and I'll get you squared away.

**Forgot the details of the project? Watch the video all over again for information, and a few giggles!

Thank you! Pass it on!

My Thanksgiving Holiday

I asked Mommy to type a blog post for me while I have the time to do it.  I have five whole days off from school -- isn't that great?

THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
On the last day of school, Kindergarten did a play, and it was called Hooray for Thanksgiving.  I was dressed as a Pilgrim woman, but I wanted to be dressed as an Indian woman instead, because the Pilgrim woman looked funny.  Not the type of funny where you laugh, but the funny where it looks weird.  The costume didn't have any details, just black and white, which aren't my colors.  The Indian woman's costume had many details, and I like details.

THANKSGIVING DAY
First I want to talk about some stuff that I ate.  Coconut cake, veggie lasagna, rice and beans, corn bread, cranberry sauce, and fruit juice that my Daddy made, which was really good!

Now, I'll tell you about what I didn't eat.  Did I tell you my sister and I are vegetarians? I didn't eat turkey, I didn't eat chicken, and I didn't eat ham.  I don't eat meat because it's not one of the things that vegetarians are supposed to eat.

After we ate, we had a party, which was a lot of fun.  We played Michael Jackson's music, and I really got on that dance floor! Some of my cousins performed, and Sage and I said a poem called Beauty Gaze, which made everyone so surprised because they didn't think we could remember a whole poem, but we did.  I was nervous, but I did it anyway, and it turned out to be not so scary, and it felt like I did so quickly in a flash!  Our little cousin Amayah, who's two, watched Dora for a long time all night.

We spent the night with Grandma Valerie and Grandpa Frederick, and Amayah, and A'zhae, whose 9, and Rhyan, who is now ten years old, and we got to watch a Michael Jackson countdown! A'zhae and I danced together when the countdown started, and that was fun! Thriller was a bit frightening, but still fun.

This Thanksgiving was one of the best I've ever had! BYE!

A Community Service Project & My Very First Vlog!!!!!!!

Hi guys!!!!

Did you get here from my Guest Post on mommy's blog? This is the video for the mini-Footballers project.  It is starring me, but not Sage because she just wanted to run around and do her thing, which that's okay.  If you want to donate soccer shoes for children, then shoot my mom an email at arichards(at)vozvisual.com, and then she'll help you out.  Happy to talk to you guys! I like this!  BYE!
